lab-backup

목적

lab-backup은 개인 서버 lab(lab.ein1.me)의 재해 복구 백업을 서버 소유자 본인의 Google Drive에 보관하는 개인용 백업 도구입니다. 서버가 망가져도 Google Drive에 있는 백업으로 같은 서버를 다시 만들 수 있게 하는 것이 목적입니다. 사용자는 서버 소유자 한 사람뿐이며, 다른 사람에게 서비스로 제공하지 않습니다.

하는 일

서버가 매일 만드는 백업 파일(lab-<시각>.tar.zst)과 체크섬 파일(.sha256)을 소유자 Google Drive의 lab-backup 폴더에 올립니다.
Google Drive가 계산한 체크섬을 서버의 기록과 비교해 파일이 손상 없이 올라갔는지 확인합니다.
보관 규칙(최근 90일은 매일, 최근 52주는 매주, 최근 60개월은 매달 하나)에 맞지 않는 오래된 백업을 지웁니다.

Google 사용자 데이터 사용

lab-backup은 Google Drive 권한 중 https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file 하나만 요청합니다. 이 권한으로는 lab-backup이 만든 폴더와 파일만 보고, 올리고, 지울 수 있습니다. 다른 Drive 파일, Gmail, 연락처, 프로필 정보는 요청하지도 접근하지도 않습니다. Google API는 위의 백업 보관에만 쓰고, 광고, 분석, 인공지능 학습, AI 생성 이미지나 비동의 성적 이미지(NCII) 생성 같은 다른 목적에는 쓰지 않습니다. 자세한 내용은 개인정보처리방침에 있습니다.

lab-backup (English)

Purpose

lab-backup is a personal backup tool that keeps the disaster-recovery backups of the personal server lab (lab.ein1.me) in the server owner's own Google Drive, so that the same server can be rebuilt from Google Drive if the server is lost. Its only user is the server owner; it is not offered as a service to anyone else.

What it does

Uploads the daily backup archive (lab-<time>.tar.zst) and its checksum file (.sha256) to the lab-backup folder in the owner's Google Drive.
Compares the checksum computed by Google Drive with the server's record to confirm the upload is intact.
Deletes old backups that fall outside the retention rule (daily for 90 days, weekly for 52 weeks, monthly for 60 months).

Use of Google user data

lab-backup requests only one Google Drive scope, https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file, which lets it see, upload, and delete only the folder and files it created. It does not request or access any other Drive files, Gmail, contacts, or profile data. Google APIs are used only for the backups described above, and never for advertising, analytics, AI training, or generating AI imagery or non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII).
